Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.” Colossians 3:10 Beloved child of God, this specific “true knowledge” that we are to be “renewed to,” as true Christians, which the apostle Paul wrote of, is none other then the “true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2: 2-3). “

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.” Colossians 3:10 Why is so important for us to consciously “put on the new self?” Because this is where our renewal is. This is where renewal takes place, in our “new self.” When we “put on the new self,” we are, in effect, putting ourselves in the place of renewal. There is certainly no renewal in our old self. The

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 Hallelujah, when we are in Jesus Christ, we are a “new creature,” that is, we are a new person, a new creation, when we are actually living in Jesus Christ! Being a “new creature” in Jesus Christ is the way in which we are able to see and receive the “new things” that “have come” to us. As an ol

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 Praise God! In Christ our Savior we have become a new creation and, as such, the old things have passed away and new things have come! Yes let us praise God for this great truth every day and, in so doing, we will constantly remind ourselves that, indeed, the old things have truly passed away, new

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 In Jesus Christ you are a new creation. When you are actively aware of, and alive to, the fact of your being in Christ, that’s when you touch the truth of your new creation. You’ve probably heard people talk about, and maybe you have experienced for yourself, the smell of a new book, or being insi

Today's Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: Christmas! This is the time of year when our thoughts turn to the birth of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Mostly, we think about the manger in Bethlehem, the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks, the proclamation of the angels and, of course, the visit of the magi. But do you ever think about why all this happened? What was the meaning of these things? Surely these are important events, for they inaugurated Jesus' li

Luke 2:10 (Continuing From Yesterday) "I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people." This truth is the doorway to our transformation. If we will REALLY believe then we will have no other course but to rise up with wings like eagles and soar above the problems, internal a

Today's Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: "And the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people.'" Luke 2:10 These well known words from the angel's proclamation to the shepherds who were huddled together in fear of the apparition in front of them, on that cold night in the field of Bethlehem, accurately describes the emphasis God has been impressing upon my heart throughout this past year. "Do n

Today's Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: Earlier this year I went to Israel with a small group of about 50 people. One evening, while we were staying in Jerusalem, we boarded our bus, with candles in hand, and went out to the nearby Shepherds Field in Bethlehem for a starlight worship service. As we sang and praised the name of our Creator together, with uplifted hands and candles brightly burning, the same rejoicing overtook our spirits that was present on a certain nig

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “After coming into the house they saw the child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh” Matthew 2:11 The Magi came into the house, saw Jesus, fell to the ground, worshiped Him, and then they opened their treasures and gave them to Christ. Let us do the same. Let us come into God’s house today. We are the temp
