We Are His House - He Is Our Home
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually”
2 Chronicles 7:16
Just as God spoke these words to Solomon, let God speak these words to you; “I have chosen and consecrated this house.”
In Jesus Christ we have become God’s house, a place for our Lord to dwell, especially “chosen and consecrated” by our God, through His grace, for our Lord’s presence. “For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, ‘I will dwell in them’” (2 Corinthians 6:16).
Bless the name of our Lord God that He has come to dwell in us!
Meet with God today and minister to Him joyfully in His house, the inner temple within you.
Bless the Master of your house! Praise His name! Be filled with His presence! Wait upon the Lord and let your strength be renewed (Isaiah 40:31)!
While it is true that we are God’s house, it is also true that we are not His home. The amazing, blessed spiritual truth, the reality for us in Christ, is that God is staying with us, dwelling within us, in our house, for all the days of our life. How blessed we are! Even better though is that, at the end of this life on earth, God will take us out of our house so we may live with Him, forever, in His home in heaven.
Praise God that He lives within us now, in our house, and that we will live forever with Him, in His home.
What is it that makes our house a home? It is the presence, now and eternal, of our Lord God Abba Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
God has made you a beloved member of His forever family.
Take good care of your house for God. Beautify your inner house today with praises and gratitude. Let the air freshener of the Holy Spirit fill your house. And look forward to “moving day” when your rented house on earth becomes a permanent home in heaven, forever with your King of glory! Hallelujah!
