Set Securely On High
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name”
Psalm 91:14
Praise God that He has delivered us, He continues to deliver us, and He sets us securely on high, all because we love Him and know His name.
Our God is so awesome to give us such peace and beauty in His presence! “Securely on high” is a phrase used in the Psalms which speaks of the protection we have in God’s presence, in much the same way as when David wrote, “In the secret place of His tent He will hide me and He will lift me up on a rock (Psalm 27:5) or, “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a refuge for me” (Psalm 61:2-3).
The opening line of this 91st Psalm says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the almighty. I will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge’” (91:1-2). This shelter, this refuge, this rock that is higher than I, this secret place, this being secure on high with our Lord; all of this comes to us as we minister to our Lord.
You see, in real time, it is because and as we love God, joyfully entering His presence to say, know, and praise His name, that we indeed are set securely on high, with Him, and delivered from all things.
Because we love our Lord God and know His name, He delivers us and sets us securely on high, with Himself!
Oh bless the name of Jesus today. Yes, express love to God in His presence and watch as He sets you securely on high with Himself even as you praise Him, all because you have taken the time to love Him and know His name.
Hallelujah!
