Seek His Face Continually
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually”
Psalm 105:4
Seeking after God’s face strengthens us in “His strength.”
When we continually seek after God’s face, this means we are always beholding Him, “fixing our eyes upon Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2). This also means, perhaps even more importantly, that God’s face is always towards us when we seek Him.
We are not seeking after the back of God’s head. No, we are seeking His face and if we seek His face then we see His face, and this can only mean that God’s face is toward us - in loving grace (“Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” Genesis 6:8).
By the grace of Jesus Christ we have become beloved children of God and the face of our Abba Father is upon us in divine love, for we love Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son.
Seek after God’s face.
What does He look like to you? Come as close as you can get, until you see those eyes of grace looking upon you. This is why there is a 100% solid guarantee of strength for you when you seek His face. You are guaranteed strength because you know His face is always, without fail, shining towards you in love when you seek Him and this is a great strength.
Yes beloved, “seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.” Hallelujah!
