All My Springs Of Joy
Today’s Word Of Encouragement from Wayne:
“All my springs of joy are in You”
Psalm 87:7
Here is the difference between joy in this world and the joy of the Lord. The joy of God is a living joy, a regenerating joy, a continuous spring of joy. God’s joy renews, refreshes, and revives us.
Joy in this world may come and go or exist only as a memory. But God’s joy is a constant, faithful, every day spring of life within us.
As God’s beloved children we are blessed to know that, “In Your presence is fullness of Joy” (Psalm 16:11).
The single best place, in grace, for us to arrive at in our quest for and understanding of joy, is to realize and gratefully confess along with Psalm 87 that, “all my springs of joy are in You.”
God’s joy is resurrection joy within us. It’s an abundant-life-within-us joy and an eternal-life-in-Christ joy.
Joy may exist or not for us presently in this world.
But the joy of the Lord within us is our daily spring of renewing strength.
It is in His presence that our own fullness of joy dwells. And His presence is within us!
When we confess that all of our springs of joy are in the Lord, it is then that we are blessed to possess a simplified, single-eyed focus upon Jesus Christ within us, as our one true Fountain of Life, which of course produces even more joy within us.
Springs are constantly bubbling up with fresh pure water.
May all your springs bubble up in our Lord this day with the pure, delicious, reviving living water of Jesus Christ.
May you be soaked with His goodness in His presence. Hallelujah!
