Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting”

Psalm 100:4-5

When we “enter His gates with thanksgiving,” this indicates that we know Whom we are approaching, our great God ,Who has loved us with an everlasting love, and this explains why we are in such a blessed state of thanksgiving as we enter.

Approaching God and His presence with an attitude of thanksgiving is the very key that unlocks the door, in your spirit and mind, to actually experiencing and appreciating God’s presence.

When we “enter His gates with thanksgiving,” this represents our thinking more about our God of love than about whatever burden we may be carrying within us to pray about in His presence.

Entering “His gates with thanksgiving” honors God first, above our needs.

Entering “His gates with thanksgiving” respects God, showing humility and gratitude for the very presence of God.

Entering “His gates with thanksgiving” is akin to our saying, just as the Psalmist, “I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121: 1-2).

Expressing thanksgiving to God shows that we are aware of God, specifically that we are aware that He is good and that His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Don’t let your God’s goodness and lovingkindness be yesterday’s news. Instead confess God’s goodness and lovingkindness as your front page news!

Yes, today, “enter His gates with thanksgiving” and bless His name, for your Lord is good!

Hallelujah!
