“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name"
Psalm 91:14
Do you know what the best way is, right now, for you to surely know that you are set “securely on high,” as Scripture says here in the fourteenth verse of this beautiful Psalm? Simply determine to do what the first verse of this Psalm says - Yes, be one “who dwells in the shelter of the Most High.”
When you meet with “the Most High” in His shelter, you become set “securely on high” with Him. Praise God!
Ministering to our beloved Lord in His presence is our meeting with God Most High, through which He sets us on high, with Himself.
Even though we meet within, in our inner room, we are set on high with the Most High every time we minister to our Lord.
It is obvious to me in this Psalm that when God Himself speaks, as He does in this fourteenth verse, with such tender love and care, it is because our Lord is blessed and honored, Himself, when He sees one drawing near to Him, joyfully being one “who dwells in the shelter of the Most High.”
You bless your Abba Father and gladden His heart when you draw near to Him, to minister in the presence of God Most High.
So He responds by saying, “I will set him securely on high.”
God, Himself, is our security, and when we minister to Him, in His shelter, we are in the presence of the One in Whom we may completely trust and rest.
Oh yes we are secure on High with our God Most High when we dwell in His shelter, loving Him and worshiping before His presence.
I invite you to dwell securely on high with your God Most High today... and be glad in His presence. Hallelujah!
