Your Godly Ones Shall Bless You

Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne-

"The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, and Your godly ones shall bless You"

Psalm 145:9-10

David continued, in this last numbered Psalm of his, by confessing that God’s mercies (multiple) "are over all His works." This means you and I, as well as everything else God has made, for truly, just as the apostle Paul declared, "we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand" (Ephesians 2: 10). God’s mercies are over us continuously, all of the time, for we are one of His works, just like David confessed and knew for his own life. In this case, as David wrote, our good work is to "give thanks to You, O Lord."

Jesus Christ has made us to be a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), His own workmanship, and His mercies are over us, so let us respond and "give thanks to You, O Lord." Oh Yes, our Lord Christ has made us to be "priests to our God" (Revelation 5: 10), so let us have this true recognition that, by God’s grace and the New Covenant blood of our Redeemer, we have become "Your godly ones" and we "shall bless You." I encourage you to identify and agree with David’s words today and walk in the fulfillment of this glorious truth; "The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, and Your godly ones shall bless You."

Thank You Lord for covering us with Your mercies so we may always know Your merciful presence, and thank You for Your favor and grace in drawing us to You, making us to be Your godly ones, so we may bless You and praise You forever, for You are worthy Lord of all our praise, for all of our life. Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah!
