Why Be Conformed When You Could Be Transformed?

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”

Romans 12:2

So, today, would we rather be “conformed to this world” or “transformed by the renewing of” our minds? I believe we would all rather be transformed.

I think that, to a great degree, if we do not joyfully seek after transformation, then we will by default fall into conformity with this world.

This means that the world will be influencing and governing our thinking and our feelings throughout our day. There is a better way!

Let us be “transformed,” not “conformed.” Let us be “transformed by the renewing of” our minds, in Jesus Christ, as we put on our new selves. When we are transformed by the renewing of our minds then this means that Jesus, God’s word, and the Holy Spirit will be influencing and governing our thinking and our feelings throughout our day. This is the much better way!

Beloved child of God, please don’t suffer needlessly by experiencing even one more day of being “conformed to this world,” especially when God is gloriously offering you transformation and renewal, within you, consistently, in Jesus Christ, “so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2).

Yes, “be transformed by the renewing of your mind” today and you will be blessed to behold all “that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Hallelujah!
