Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God”

Genesis 6:9

For the past two days I have been sharing the blessing of Noah finding favor and grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:8) and how this truth is for us today in our Lord Jesus Christ!

Yes, in our New Covenant Savior, Lord, and High Priest, Jesus Christ, we are blessed continuously to see favor and grace towards us, as we have seen, through “the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ” (4:6).

God's glory, in the face of Christ, dwells in our hearts! This is worth beholding every day!

This following verse from Genesis 6:9 shows us, for our own lives, how we may find favor and grace, every day, in God’s eyes towards us.

Here it is: walk with God.

Let us walk with God through this day, consciously and in His Spirit, so we may be close enough, aware enough, to behold the favor and grace of our Lord towards us and over us. “Noah walked with God.” When we walk with God we are blessed to look into His eyes, in spirit and in truth, and see His grace.

Scripture tells us of Jesus Christ that He is “full of grace and truth” and that “of His fullness we have all received and grace upon grace” (John 1: 14&16). Walking with God and finding grace go hand in hand - just exactly like we and God are blessed to go hand in hand.

Beloved child and minister of God, praise your Lord in His presence, minister unto Him, look into His eyes in Spirit and truth, and receive the grace upon grace fullness that pours forth from His countenance as you worship and walk with your gracious, loving, favoring Savior. Hallelujah!
