Waiting & Seeking: Our God-Given Priesthood Keys
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I have hope in Him.’ The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him”
Lamentations 3:22-25
Our God’s lovingkindnesses never cease and His compassions never fail. Thank You Lord!.
If there is ever a day when I am failing to see my God’s lovingkindnesses and compassions, that can only be because I have failed to “wait for Him” and seek Him.
Yes, I may fail to see God’s goodness, but my God’s goodness never fails. I may fail to behold His lovingkindnesses and compassions, but they never fail. They are constant. God’s goodness is constant.
If I have failed to see these things, I have learned, through my decades of following Jesus Christ, that my awareness of my failure actually becomes my blessed awareness of my need to immediately repair myself into the presence of God, to “wait for Him,” to be “the person who seeks Him” and, in that inner court place, I behold Him once more and, therefore, His lovingkindnesses, compassions, and goodness are realized again. Thank You Jesus!
Waiting and seeking are our God-given priesthood keys, which allow us to unfailingly behold this sacred truth, that “the Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.”
Allow yourself the grace today to receive and believe in God’s unrelenting lovingkindnesses, compassions, and goodness towards you in Jesus Christ. Yes, enter your inner court so you may, once more, “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). Hallelujah!
