The Help Of Giving Thanks Abundantly

Today's Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord; and in the midst of many I will praise Him” Psalm 109:30

Hallelujah, beloved of God! This beautiful verse from the 109th Psalm has a secret help for us!

Do you ever feel nervous, or maybe not spiritual enough, or self conscious, about giving God thanks in public places, or even in fellowship services?

If so, or even if not, here is a wonderful truly heart-warming word for you, from God, which can only bless your life. And it is simple.

Here it is, “With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord; and in the midst of many I will praise Him” Psalm 109:30.

Yes, let it be as Jesus Himself once taught, “go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father Who is in secret” (Matthew 5:6).

First, “Give thanks abundantly to God” directly to God, in the presence of God, in “your inner room,” that is, the room within you where God dwells! Learn to be blessed in giving your loving Abba Father thanks “abundantly,” on a beautiful regular basis. After all, “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord” (Psalm 92:1)!

In this case, I do believe, once you become comfortable, and blessed, and even eager, in giving”thanks abundantly to the Lord,” privately, personally, regularly, you will find and realize it to be a blessing “in the midst of many I will praise Him.”

It is beautiful to lift our voices in our praises to God, and when we do this together, I am sure it is a great encouragement for all in the congregation to participate, and in doing so, become further opened to our Lord themselves!

And it is entirely appropriate, with God’s sensitivity and wisdom timing, for us to acknowledge, with thanksgiving and gratitude, God’s blessings, even in secular places, not to be annoying, but enabling, for others to consider God’s goodness and worthiness to be praised!

I encourage you this day, to bless God, and bless yourself, by entering God’s presence and say,

“With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord; and in the midst of many I will praise Him”! Hallelujah!
