The Best Way To See Your Holy Array

Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in holy array.” Psalm 29:2

Now here is a most beautiful way for you to see yourself in holy array this day - “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name!”

Yes, I believe the more we “ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name,” the more we are enabled to behold our “holy array.”

It is as we worship that our eyes are opened and we are gifted to see.

As we glorify our Lord in His presence, our own spiritual eyes open further to His glory, for God is full of glory, causing us to, even more, want to give Him “the glory due to His name.”

Through directing ourselves to our Lord, in His presence, in His praises, our eyes open further to see ourselves as well.

We are touching our eternal identity as God’s “royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9) which God, indeed, has created and called all of His children to participate in, when we worship in the light of His presence, giving our Lord “the glory due to His name.”

His light allows us to see our own spiritual identity more clearly. The clearer we see our Lord, in Spirit and in truth, the clearer we also see ourselves in “holy array.”

It is just as Paul wrote in His letter to the church of the Colossians, “When Christ, Who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).

We “ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name” and, in this great light, we become blessedly “revealed with Him in glory,” seeing ourselves clothed with “the mantle of praise,” “the garments of salvation,” and “a robe of righteousness” (Isaiah 61:3,10).

The more we minister to God in Spirit and in truth, the more we are enabled to see and understand ourselves in Spirit and in truth.

We see our new selves best when our eyes are fixed upon Him. For “in Him you have been made complete” (Colossians 2:10) and it is also as David wrote in the 36th Psalm, “In Your light we see light.”

Yes beloved, “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name” today, in His light, and then, in His light, see yourself as you “worship the Lord in holy array.”

Thank You God. You are so good to us. Hallelujah!
