Thank God For His Indescribable Gift

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift”

2 Corinthians 9:15

Jesus Christ is God’s “indescribable gift” to us and to this world.

Jesus Christ, in Himself, is so amazingly full of grace and truth (John 1:16-17), extending through eternity, that we, with our limited capacity to receive and understand, can only attempt to describe what we ourselves have witnessed and received concerning Jesus Christ.

But we all know that we cannot completely describe Him, Who is indescribable.

So, what are we to do?

The answer is to praise and thank God for His indescribable gift.

Yes say, “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift,” for in doing so, you are directly addressing, and therefore beholding, He Who is indescribable, and you will learn more of Him even as you are with Him in thanksgiving.

Hallelujah, beloved of God, keep describing the indescribable!

Hopefully here is how it will simply and joyfully work for you. The more you describe your loving Lord Jesus Christ, to yourself and to others, having been with Him in praise (spirit), and in His word, the Scriptures (truth), you will realize that there is yet so much more to learn of Him. So, this will, I pray, keep you coming back for more! More of Jesus! More of God’s overwhelming beauty, goodness, presence, and purpose. Keep thanking “God for His indescribable gift“ and you will keep wanting to learn more of His indescribable gift!

This is the basic truth contained in the Scripture, “O taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). God is so good that I must keep coming back to thank Him, to taste and see even more of His goodness. His goodness is life-sustaining.

This is God’s gracious will for our lives, to come before Him with thanksgiving, to abide with Him in gratitude, humility, and praises, so we might be even more full of Him. This is such a good and Godly will for us. God has made Himself indescribable by design so that we may always be forever close to Him, in fellowship and dependence, and He is blessed to reveal more of Himself to us.

God is indescribable because, we all know that as good as we understand Him to be, that He is so much greater, and this is why He is indescribably good!

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift” today.

Hallelujah!
