Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:
“The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, and Your godly ones shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power.” Psalm 145:9-11
Hallelujah, beloved of God, our “Lord is good to all!”
We praise You Lord and we bless You in and for Your goodness towards us, Your loving kindness, graciously extended to us through Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
“His mercies are over all His works” and, through Jesus Christ, we have also become one of God’s works, a miraculous working of our mercy-full, life-redeeming Messiah.
We are new creations in and through Jesus Christ.
So, let us also joyfully “speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power.”
In order for us to consistently “speak of the glory of Your kingdom” with a fresh anointing each day, let us first step inside the temple of God within us, and minister to our Lord in His presence, under “the shelter of His wings,” as David wrote, for this is where we are blessed to “taste and see” (Psalm 34:8) the goodness of our Lord and “the glory of Your kingdom.”
“All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, and Your godly ones shall bless You” - This is what David wrote and directed for us first to do and then, with this attitude of praise, we are greatly enabled to “speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power.”
We best speak of that which we truly and personally experience, know, and understand. So, let us go before our God’s presence this day, giving Him thanks and blessing Him. Then let us speak of the glory of His kingdom, in His presence, before our Lord, and then, by His Own Holy Spirit, let us faithfully “speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power” to this world and to God’s Own church.
O Lord, Thank You for filling us with the beautiful glory of Your kingdom.
We seek and graciously receive Your anointing for our lives today so we may honor you, to “speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power,” that all may know You, rejoice in You, and see that You indeed are “good to all” and that Your mercies are over all of Your works. Hallelujah!
