Renewed And Transformed From Glory To Glory
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”
Romans 12:2
Beloved child of God, let us thank our Lord profusely for the continuous transformation He offers us in Jesus Christ.
If we live with our awareness squarely in and of this world, then we will inevitably become conformed to this world.
If we live with our awareness squarely in and of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who abides and dwells within us, then we will inevitably become transformed towards our Lord, even as we “are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3: 18).
Walking in this world can only conform us to the image of this world. Whereas walking in the Spirit of God transforms us, into something new and newer in God, every single time. Being transformed “from glory to glory” in Jesus Christ sounds so much better to me than “the same old, same old” that the world serves up every day.
Yes, we who are of God know that, in terms of worldly and sinful human nature that there is “nothing new under the sun.” But in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in Whom we live as a new creation with a new mind, there is available to us every single day, newness of life in Him, realized even as we are renewed in our minds, putting on our new selves, and stepping into continuous transformation “from glory to glory,” with “Christ, Who is our life” (Coalescence 3:4).
Thank You Lord Jesus. You are our Way, our Truth, and our Life. You are our newness and our transformation. We pray for the grace and constant reminder of Your Holy Spirit within us, that we would always be towards You, being transformed by the renewing of our mind, in You. In Jesus name, Amen. Hallelujah!
