Renewal Takes Place In Our New Self

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him”

Colossians 3:10

Why is so important for us to consciously “put on the new self?” Because this is where our renewal is. This is where renewal takes place, in our “new self.”

When we “put on the new self,” we are, in effect, putting ourselves in the place of renewal.

There is no renewal in our old self. There is no renewal in this dead-in-sin world. Christ IS our renewal (“Christ, who is our life” Colossians 3:4) and in Him, we are renewed. We know we are in Him when we “put on the new self” because it is Christ Himself that we are seeing and walking in the yoke with (Hebrews 12: 2, Matthew 11: 29).

“Put on the new self” today, beloved child of God, and you will see Jesus. You will experience renewal according to “a true knowledge.”

You are true to your “new self” and to Jesus Christ when you “put on the new self.”

Don’t delay! Get ready for this new year. “Put on the new self” today!

Hallelujah!
