Receiving From The Spirit Of God

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God”
1 Corinthians 2:12
What channel is your receiver set to right now? The spiritual receiver inside of you that is.
Our natural mind’s default setting is to receive from the spirit of this world. What a chaotic mess!
Whereas our new mind in Christ is set to receive from the Spirit of God concerning the things freely given to us by God, which sounds so much better, don’t you agree?
Sometimes we mistakenly allow our inner channel to switch back to the spirit of this world and then we do not know why we are not receiving the things freely given us by God.
We need to fix our receiver so that it is always set upon our favorite signal!
Today let us make sure, with joy and anticipation, that our spirit is decidedly and intently set upon receiving from “the spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.” Our Lord has so much to show us of Himself.
Let us receive all He has graciously given to us.
