Proclaim His Excellencies

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”
1 Peter 2:9
The more you know who you are, as a beloved child of God and as a priest to God, the more you are enabled and enthused to proclaim “the excellencies of Him.”
The more you see yourself as God sees you, the more clearly you are able to see your God, along with your purpose in God to this world of “darkness” namely, “that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you.”
Step into “His marvelous light” as His priest today and behold your excellent Savior Who has chosen you, made you a priest unto Him, and a person for His “own possession.”
God has drawn you to Himself in love. He has “called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light.” It is within His marvelous light that you see how excellent and marvelous God is and how wonderfully He has recreated you in Him so you may be as close as close may be to Him, your God, your loving Savior, for now and throughout all eternity.
God wants to fill you so full of Himself that you will be bursting with a flow of praises, extolling how excellent Jesus Christ is! Amen.
Tell your Lord, tell yourself, and let your life be a never-ending telling to this world - of how excellent, how marvelous, how precious, how loving, how completely committed God is to you.
Proclaim His excellencies. The more you proclaim His excellencies, the more excellent He becomes to you.
