Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace”
Romans 8:6
What is your mind-set today? What is your mind set upon?
God’s word tells us in this verse that if our mind is set on the flesh then death is the result. There is no spiritual life for us when we dwell upon the flesh (ours or somebody else’s).
However God offers us a much more attractive and effective mind-set and that is to fix our mind on the Spirit, praise Him!
Let your new default mind-set be upon the Spirit and the things of the Spirit of God, and you will always be aware of the life and peace that is yours in our Lord.
Jesus Christ has conquered death for us, so now let us humbly and gratefully embrace and fix our full attention upon the Spirit of God and the resurrection life that is our in Jesus Christ.
This is how you may joyfully live day-by-day in resurrection life, full of “life and peace,” every single day of your life.
Yes, set your mind on the Spirit, because “the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.” Every time. Hallelujah!
