Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them’” Acts 13:2
Praise God! You have been chosen by your loving Savior, Jesus Christ, to be “Set apart for Me.”
Let God whisper in your ear as you minister to Him, “My beloved child, I have set you apart for Me.”
Ministering to the Lord, in its simplest and purest form, is our realization and agreement with God that, indeed, we have been set apart for Him.
We are set apart for God when we enter His presence, to minister to Him and to be filled with the light of His countenance.
Then, in His presence, as we attend to God in worship and stillness, this is exactly where we may more clearly and concisely hear the Holy Spirit saying to us what God is calling us to do in this world, even as we remain blessedly set apart for our Lord.
Every time that we minister to our Lord, the Holy Spirit reinforces this truth within us, this higher truth that we have indeed been “Set apart for Me.”
When I wonder within myself; “why would You offer us, indeed call us, to this rich blessing of anointing, intimacy, and such divine fellowship, all wrapped up within our priesthood to You, being set apart for You, Personally,” this beautiful Scripture comes to my mind as to why, “Since you are precious in My sight, since you are honored and I love you” (Isaiah 43:4). Yes, I believe this is our Lord's amazing grace and love being offered and enlivened within the deepest level of our being.
Allow yourself this life-renewing joy in God’s presence today.
Draw near to your loving and gracious Lord to minister to Him before His presence, and let His Holy Spirit minister to you that indeed have been, in love, “set apart for Me.”
Yes Lord, thank You so much for this blessing of being “set apart for Me!” I pray we will all receive and grow in this grace and knowledge of this most loving, protective, renewing blessing, realized within our priesthood unto You, Yourself! Hallelujah! I love ministering unto You, and I have always loved this, since the first time you ever showed me. I continue to pray for every single beloved child of Yours on this planet to behold and see their own holy priesthood unto You, for Your glory throughout and above the body of Christ, and for our ultimate satisfaction and service to You, in Your presence. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen! Hallelujah!
