I Love Dwelling With God

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“O Lord, I love the habitation of Your house and the place where Your glory dwells”

Psalm 26:8

O I so hope you have this same love for “the habitation of Your house” that David expressed in this psalm, because His house now lives within you!

We are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16, 2 Corinthians 6:16) and when we enter within, to minister to our Lord, we are entering into “the place where Your glory dwells.” Oh Hallelujah!

David loved the habitation of God’s house, meaning David loved the act of dwelling in God’s house, “the place where Your glory dwells.”

You and I are blessed to have the house of God within us, so we may fellowship in the beauty and glory of God at any time, being filled anew with the Spirit of our Living God even as we minister to Him in the Spirit.

Ministering to the Lord is our stepping into the glory within, all because of the New Covenant in the blood of our risen and indwelling Savior, Jesus Christ, of Whom God’s word says, “God, who said, ‘light shall shine out of darkness,’ is the One who has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).

Ministering to our Lord brings us directly into “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ,” “in our hearts,” just as Paul wrote.

The more we minister to our Lord in His presence, the more we grow in our love for ministering to the Lord, and this is just fine with our Abba Father. In fact, this is the way He has made it, so we might “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8) and, therefore, keep coming back for more. More of God! More of His glory! More loving fellowship and renewal In “ the habitation of Your house and the place where Your glory dwells.”

Beloved of God,, thank your Lord in His presence today for “the habitation of Your house” that now lives within you. Yes inhabit and love your God in “the place where Your glory dwells” and behold “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” Bless You Lord!

“O Lord, I love the habitation of Your house and the place where Your glory dwells”

Hallelujah!
