How Blessed We Are To Bless The Lord

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Now when these things have been so prepared, The priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship”

Hebrews 9:6

Yesterday I shared with you that, as a kingdom of priests unto our God (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:5-6), we have been awakened to this great privilege, which is extended to all of God’s children, this ministry and response to God our Father, this grace of our “continually entering” His presence “performing the divine worship.”

We are so blessed, as His royal priesthood, as responsive and obedient ministers of the inner court, to experience in God’s presence “divine worship” unto our Lord, for His glory and will.

Here, in the midst of “the divine worship” is where we may profoundly behold “the excellencies of Him,” as Peter shared (1 Peter 2:9). “To behold the beauty of the Lord” is the way David put it in Psalm 27:4.

Today I’d like to briefly consider the phrase “Now when all these things have been prepared.”

Contextually this was speaking of preparing the temple (Hebrews 9:1-5) in the old testament days, so that the old covenant priests under the “first covenant” could perform their “divine worship.”

Today, for you and I, as blood-washed, regenerated, Spirit-filled children of our God under the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, our “high priest of the good things to come” (Hebrews 9:11), we know our Lord Jesus has accomplished everything for us concerning our salvation and our lives forever with Him. So I am just saying that this statement “when these things have been so prepared” is true right now, and forever, for all of us in Christ our Lord. He has done everything, prepared everything, so He may bless us to participate in “the divine worship.”

Every Christian is included in this gifted call to our priesthood and Christ has “prepared” for all, that all of His children may be “continually entering” and “performing the divine worship” before His presence as His beloved kingdom of priests.

Yes this grace is for all of God’s children and this is such a beautiful performance, isn’t it? When you, in faith, step into the inner court of His presence, your Abba Father God sees you “performing the divine worship.”

You are performing for Him alone.

Come into the presence of your God today. He sees your worship as a divine performance. Oh how blessed we are to bless our Lord. Hallelujah!
