God’s Sanctuary Is In Our Midst Forever

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“David My servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever”

Ezekiel 37:25-26

Here is yet another word of prophecy concerning Jesus Christ our Messiah, of a new covenant of peace (in our Prince of Peace), an eternal covenant, incorporating the kingship of David with God’s sanctuary and, therefore, His priesthood, “forever.” That Ezekiel was not referring to David Himself is obvious, for David had died approximately five hundred years earlier.

This word of prophecy directly mirrors God’s great dual promise to David stated in Psalm 110, which we have already looked at so much; in verse one which says “The Lord says to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for your feet’” (Christ as eternal King), and in verse four which declares “The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind, ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizadek’” (Christ as eternal High Priest).

We continue to see, time after time and prophecy after prophecy, that our Father God was continuously pointing all of His people towards a time in Which Messiah would reign eternally as both King, from David’s bloodline, and as High Priest, from the eternal priesthood of Melchizadek.

This is our Savior right now. Jesus Christ is our King and our High Priest, and His sanctuary IS in our midst forever.

When you and I activate our priesthood to God, this is when our whole lives begin to declare this truth that, right now, Christ is our King and our High Priest and we are acting upon this truth by being God’s blood purchased, new covenant priesthood (Revelation 5:9-10), worshiping Him and manifesting that His sanctuary actually is here, within us, and we are His ministers, before Him in His presence.

Awaken O church to your holy priesthood. Yes, enter into agreement with God concerning His eternal new covenant purpose for us as His own “kingdom and priests to our God” (Revelation 5:10).

Beloved child of God, every single time that you minister to the Lord, your life is proclaiming with great affirmation that, indeed, God’s sanctuary IS in our midst forever! Praise Him today for placing His sanctuary in your midst forever, for this is true! Hallelujah!
