God’s Fruitful Gentle Spirit Within Us
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit”
Galatians 5:22-23,25
O beloved child of God, praise your gracious Lord Jesus Christ, Who is “full of grace and truth” (John 1:14,16), for He has filled you with the fruit of His Spirit, which is the fruit of His Own presence within you.
We are so blessed to be filled with our Lord’s Holy Spirit so that His Own love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness may occupy our thoughts and permeate our being throughout each day.
This is the fruit, the manifestation, of God’s true Spirit in us, meaning that this is our Lord’s true nature and disposition towards us.
God desires to fill you with His Own love, joy, peace, gentleness, and all of the other beautiful, life-transforming qualities of His Own Holy Presence, specifically because He loves you and wants you to be experiencing this quality of life with Him, the quality of His life as your life, with His Spirit constantly filling your vessel with divine love.
Receive “the fruit of the Spirit” now, and then throughout this day, having done that, “let us also walk in the Spirit.” Accept, confess, and allow the fruit of God’s Spirit to fill you so that you may “walk” with this same awareness, of His fruitful presence, this dynamic fullness, of God’s Spirit filling you and then flowing through you to the world around you.
Greater is His Spirit that is within you than the spirit that is of this world.
I encourage you to rejoice today in the fruit of God’s Spirit. Yes, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving” (Psalm 100:4) as His priest and minister to your Lord, thanking Him for each and every fruit of His Spirit that He has graciously filled you with. The more you thank God for these attributes the more you will cherish and see these attributes within your new self.
And then live by the Spirit, walk by the Spirit, and you will always be aware of the gentleness and fullness of your High Priest, Jesus Christ, within you, even as you minister “as a priest the gospel of God” (Romans 15:16) in this world, letting “your gentle spirit be known to all men” for “the Lord is near” (Philippians 4:5). Amen. May God bless you today even as you bless Him! Hallelujah!
