God Is Here To Make You Rejoice Over Your Enemies

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Every man of Judah and Jerusalem returned with Jehoshaphat at their head, returning to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.”

2 Chronicles 20:27 

Has a thought of your Lord made you to rejoice in Christ yet today?

What, or Who, makes the difference between defeat and victory in our lives?

Our Lord Jesus Christ, that’s Who.

What makes the difference within us between despair and joy?

The presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Christ in you” the apostle Paul wrote, is our “hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

Because Jesus Christ lives in us, therefore victory is in us, for Christ has won the victory for us - over sin, death, and separation from God.

Because Jesus Christ is in us, therefore joy also is in us; “My joy,” as our Savior declared, “so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full” (John 15:11).

Let us gratefully declare our true spiritual identity, as God’s beloved covenant children and priesthood, and therefore let us live this day in the reality that “the Lord has made us to rejoice over our enemies.”

Rejoicing over our enemies does not mean we are glad to see an enemies defeat or that we derive any pleasure at all from their defeat. Instead rejoicing over our enemies means we are actually beholding Christ and our victory in Him, above any and every enemies plan or purpose against us. So we rejoice in Jesus Christ and no enemy can ever remove that from us. For Now that Jesus Christ lives within us, He has become and remains as the big Headline of our lives.

Each day, beloved of God, allow the joy, the presence, and the victory of Jesus Christ living within you to become far greater than the outer world of tribulations.

This ascending awareness of Christ within us, accompanied by a growing understanding of His Person, presence, power, and purpose within us, blesses our minds and hearts, every time, with His peace and with His victory. “The Lord made them to rejoice over their enemies.” Amen.

May this be our confessed truth today - “The Lord has made me to rejoice over my enemies.”

The Lord makes me rejoice. The Lord makes me rejoice in Him, for He is so good, loving, caring, and present. The Lord makes me rejoice over my enemies because He, Who is within me, is so much greater than all who are in the world, and so I may safely rest in Him, for Christ is my always victory, now and forever.
