God Always Leads Us In Triumph
Today’s Word Of Encouragement from Wayne:
“Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place”
2 Corinthians 2:14
Blessed child of God, give thanks to your gracious Abba Father this day, for He “always leads us in triumph in Christ.”
Certainly this is true. Think on this. God doesn’t lead us in defeat, does He? No, He always leads us in triumph in Christ.
Even if you experience a defeat in your life, your God will always lead you “in triumph in Christ,” because your God will always lead you directly to Jesus Christ, Who is your triumph - over sin, death, separation from God, the world, the flesh, the devil, and any thought “raised up against the knowledge of God” (2 Corinthians 10:5).
God leads you, specifically, “in triumph in Christ.” Your only triumph is when you are with Him even as He is “Christ in you” (Colossians 1:27). Christ, Himself, is your victory. “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Corinthians 15:57.
Seeing this, we understand that our victory in Christ does not puff us up in our ego or flesh, which would actually separate our awareness from God to ourselves. No, our victory in Christ humbles us and makes us ever more grateful to be dependant upon Him, for we know the price Jesus Christ, our Savior, paid in His Own New Covenant blood (Luke 22:20) to bring us to Him that we may abide with Him and live in His triumph.
Realizing and walking in our victory, with our Lord in real time, because we are desirous to be with our Victor, is exactly how, “in triumph in Christ,” God “manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” Oh yes, hallelujah, it is all about Jesus! We know it’s not about us and our victory. It’s about Jesus!
Receive this grace today and let God be your sweet triumph “in every place.” That’s right, everywhere you go, walk in fellowship with Christ, and He will manifest Himself to you as a sweet aroma, surrounding you, soothing you, and offering light to you in “the knowledge of Him.”
Yes, “Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ.”
Hallelujah!
