For From Zion Will Go Forth The Law, Even The Word Of The Lord From Jerusalem
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, ‘Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us about His ways and that we may walk in His paths.’ For from Zion will go forth the law, even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem”
Micah 4:3
For the past two days we have been blessedly looking into this word of prophecy, through Micah, concerning the last days and God’s will being finally achieved in regards to His house, His holy temple, being realized as the highest of all hills with all the peoples streaming to it, that they may learn of the Lord’s ways and walk in His paths.
For us, as acknowledged priests unto our God, in accord with His divine will declared in His new and eternal covenant, we are regularly entering His house. We have long regarded His house and hill as the highest of all and we do (thank Your Jesus) learn of His ways and of His paths in His presence. Bless His holy name!
That which is expressed as God’s ultimate goal for His people in this word of prophecy is what we are involved with right now, and every day.
Each time we minister to and before our Lord in His house, let us pray for the eyes of the entire body of Christ to truly and fully open, all the way, so as to recognize our God in His fully expressed biblical completion, and that the God’s church would willingly humble itself to accept and submit to (with joy) the New Covenant of Christ, in His Own blood, along with our now-and-eternal identity as a priesthood to God our Father through Christ.
Now, beloved of God, behold with joy how the last part of the word of this prophecy has already come true for us in our Messiah! “For from Zion will go forth the law, even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Jesus Christ, according to the Gospel of John, is “the Word,” (John 1:1). Jesus Christ, in Himself, is God’s New Covenant, God’s new law. God has told us, “I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon and those who dwell in darkness from the prison” (Isaiah 42:6-7) & “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood” (Luke 22:20). Then, also the Spirit of Jesus Christ, on the day of Pentecost, filled believers in Jerusalem, later sending them out from Jerusalem! So, for us, who live in and through Jesus Christ, this beautiful word is already true. Jesus, God’s Word and law, has gone forth from Jerusalem and He continues to go forth in this day - through us!
There still remains a later, more full and complete, fulfillment to Micah’s prophecy coming to us, regarding all peoples streaming into God’s house. But for right now, in our lives and walks with our God , as His aware and responsive priesthood, we need to walk in this light, right now, so we may truly be taught “about His ways and that we may walk in His paths” and that we may call ALL of God’s people to begin streaming, as His New Covenant priesthood, together in one body and calling, right now into His holy house, so that all of God’s children will clearly see and truly regard His hill as being higher than all the other hills.
Praise God again in this day, beloved, for when you and I minister to our Lord, we are declaring, with our entire lives and service to our God that, in our hearts, “the house of the Lord will be [and has been] established as the chief of the mountains.” Hallelujah!
