Finding Favor In God’s Eyes Today

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord”

Genesis 6:8

This verse from Genesis came right after God had said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the earth” (Vs 7). Mankind was reveling in wickedness, but not Noah. Rather than being led into wickedness with the world, Noah was spending time with God, and Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

We can look at this beautiful verse in two ways.

First, and most obvious, is that God looked upon Noah with favor. “Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”

Secondly though, is that Noah walked with God, in fellowship, worship, and devotion. As Noah walked with God, and knew God, Noah by faith looked into the eyes of His God and saw favor.

Today, for you and I, God has shown us favor and grace through salvation and His continuing presence in our lives. But let us also, like Noah, look up into the eyes of our Lord God and see favor.

See your Lord looking at you with the sunshine of grace and favor in His eyes towards you.

Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord and so do we. See His favor upon you today. Step into His presence, look into His face, minister to your Lord, and let His favor flow within you. Hallelujah!
