God’s Dwelling Place Is With Us

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

God’s Dwelling Place Is With Us

“David My servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people”

Ezekiel 37:25-27

God’s will for us in Jesus Christ is that “My dwelling place will be with them.” Amen and praise God, for this is precisely what has been given to us in our new covenant priesthood to God.

God’s dwelling place is within us, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

In his second letter to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul actually referenced this verse from Ezekiel, within the context of our being the present day temple of the Lord, writing “For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them; and they shall be My people’” (2nd Corinthians 6:16).

My simple declaration today is this: behold how amazingly favored we have become in Jesus Christ that our God actually desires to dwell with us, within us, as our God and with us as His priests! Once more let me state that when we enter our priesthood to the Lord, all of this truth becomes activated into life and understanding for our great benefit, blessing, and growth in our Lord.

God WANTS to dwell within you. This is God’s long stated will and desire, that He would be our God and we would be His people with His sanctuary in our midst forever, so we would minister to Him as His priesthood in His presence.

We honor our God with the greatest of faithfulness and understanding, concerning all of His promises and covenants made throughout scripture, when we say, and live today, that We are His new covenant people and priesthood. For God’s long standing and ultimate will has always been to have a people of His covenant who would also be His kingdom of priests.

Bless your Lord today, Who is dwelling within you now, by being His priest in His presence, in His sanctuary, rejoicing in His new covenant. Hallelujah!
