We Are Blessed To Be Brought “Near To You”

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You to dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple”

Psalm 65:4

“How blessed” are you this day, beloved of God?

Praise God! Yes, to be a priest unto our Lord, chosen by Him, to dwell in His courts, “near to You,”is a great, great blessing that each of us have already been given in Jesus Christ, Who “has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father” (Revelation 1:6).

God has graciously chosen us and has blessed us with our priesthood in Him. Every time we enter His courts to minister to our Lord, it is the Holy Spirit within us entreating and calling us, so that He may once more “bring [us] near to You,” for our blessing and renewal even as we minister to our God with praise and adoration in His presence.

“Ministering to the Lord” (Acts 13: 2) always brings us near, and nearer, to our Lord Himself in His glory. God has chosen us for this.

Such favor and blessing has been bestowed upon us, that we have been chosen by God to “dwell” with and be “near” to Him, in His courts, which now reside within us, even as the apostle Paul wrote, “you are a temple of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God dwells in you” (1 Corinthians 3:16).

God has blessed us. He has chosen us. He has brought us near to Himself so we may dwell with our God in His “inner court” (Ezekiel 44: 15-17). So let us respond to all our Lord has done for us by entering within, so we may “be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.”

Beloved child and priest of God, allow your new self to realize this great blessing today, saying “Yes” to your God and showing Him your gratitude by dwelling in His house, near to Him, being satisfied with His goodness, and praising in His presence. Hallelujah!
