Let God Strengthen You In His Presence Today

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Let God Strengthen You In His Presence Today

“‘I love You, O Lord, my strength.’ The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies”

Psalm 18:1-3

Look at all of these wonderful confessions David proclaimed concerning God, “in whom I take refuge.” I believe it was actually through David’s consistent taking refuge in God and expressing “I love You, O Lord” in His presence, that he was blessed to get to know God in all of these ways.

You and I today, as priests unto God (1 Peter 2: 5-9, Revelation 1:5-6), are free to and indeed we are called, to minister to God so we may know our loving Lord in all of these ways too, even as David did, as we practice ministering to our God, “in whom I take refuge.”

The refuge of God now lives within us. When we enter our refuge to minister to our God, it is all about our confessing in His presence “I love You, O Lord,” and “I call upon the Lord , who is worthy to be praised.” Amen. We are so blessed to bless our Lord and confess our love for Him in His presence.

Ministering to our Lord consistently is such a huge help to us when tough times do come. For through our regular ministering to the Lord we have come to know that we are blessed to enter our refuge at any moment and confess Who God is to us. In declaring “I love You, O Lord, my strength,” we are strengthened. By confessing that “the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer” we are blessed to see God as our Rock, our Fortress, and our Deliverer. This is so much better that just staring at our trials or not knowing what to do. To enter our refuge that we may love and praise our God fills us and surrounds us with His protective presence. Yes He is our “stronghold” in that God strongly holds us when we are in our refuge with Him.

I encourage you to minister to God each day and, when the tough days do come, you will already be strengthened in His presence, because you have practiced your priesthood and have come to know your God as “my strength,” “my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Beloved child of God, enter your Lord’s presence today as His humble child, His priest, and simply begin like David did, saying “‘I love You, O Lord, my strength.” Yes, express love and gratitude to God in His presence and then let those titles start to flow from your spirit, of Who God is to you and of all the great things He has done for you, and soon you will realize, just like David did as he praised God, that “I am saved from my enemies.” Amen.

Let God raise you up in His goodness and strengthen you in His presence as you minster to Him today. Hallelujah!
