I Will Praise The Lord While I Live - Part 2
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“I will praise the Lord while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being”
Psalm 146:2
I love this verse.
It is such a simple, yet ultimate and full declaration. I look at this verse as declaring what we see our chief aim in life to be: “I will praise the Lord while I live.”
What are you going to do with your life?
Well, there are all kinds of answers... do we mean financially? Do we mean with all the people that we get to know?
What am I going to do with my life? I'll tell you what I’m going to do with my life: “I will praise the Lord while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.”
The day that we were born again, the day we believed and received the gift of forgiveness and eternal life in God’s Son, our Heavenly Father put us in harmony with Jesus Christ.
We know that throughout eternity, as seen in the book of Revelation, we will all be in harmony with Jesus Christ, “the Lamb in the center of the throne” (Rev. 7:17).
Well, it would be a shame to miss that right now, wouldn’t it?
Here’s the way to have this blessed truth now. Let’s get in harmony, stay in harmony and yes, live through eternity in harmony with Jesus Christ. This would do us all a whole lot of good right now. This is what I see the psalmist saying here, very simply, when he declared“I will praise the Lord while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being”
In the coming days, I would like to share this whole psalm with you, so we may determine to live in harmony with God, now and forever.
Yes, Let us determine to praise the Lord, throughout every day, while we live! Hallelujah!
