The Peace Of Christ Rules... In Our Hearts

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

The Peace Of Christ Rules... In Our Hearts

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful”

Colossians 3:15

Here is God’s will for you today - let the peace of Christ rule in your heart and be thankful.

God’s peace is His presence with you.

Let the presence of Jesus Christ within you rule in your heart. Amen.

And thank God that this is so. Thank Jesus for His peace for, as Paul wrote to the Ephesians, “He Himself is our peace” (2:14).

The more you thank God for His peace, the more His peace arises in your mind and, therefore, the more you become aware of the peace of Christ ruling in your heart.

This is intended to be a beautiful circle.

God’s peace is in our hearts so we thank Him.

As we thank God we become even more filled with the awareness of His peace, along with His love, grace, mercy, compassion, and all the other treasures that are ours to behold as we adore the Lord of our hearts, Jesus Christ, ruling within us in His never-ending reign of peace.

And so we thank and praise Him even more.

These are ascending praises, for even as we thank God for His peace, our very act of thanksgiving opens us up to an even greater sensing and understanding of His peace, which causes us to thank Him more.

This is our true spiritual oneness.

We are “called in one body” to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, and be thankful. This is the power of our testimony, as the body of Christ, to this world. We have peace in Jesus Christ and His peace rules in our hearts! This is our testimony to this world.

It is the difference between “no peace” and “know peace.”

Today let God testify of His peace to you - and be thankful. Hallelujah!
