Seeing His Shining Face Upon You

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Seeing His Shining Face Upon You

“O God, restore us and cause your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved”

Psalm 80:3

We surely know we must be in a blessed state of restoration when God’s face is shining upon us, just like sheep in the presence of our loving Shepherd, as David declared of the Lord his shepherd when He wrote, “He restores my soul” (Psalm 23:3).

The restoration of our soul is beautifully accomplished in us when we return to, and remain in, the presence of Jesus Christ our Good Shepherd for “He restores my soul.”

The face of your Shepherd is shining upon you right now, bathing you with divine love and light.

Receive and live in the light of your Shepherd’s face, for in His presence you are assured of your salvation.

God restores you to Himself and, truly, He intends this to be a mutual joy, to be with each other forever.

God’s face is shining when His sheep are with Him.

Actually God’s face shines all of the time but we only see this when we are living in our glorious restoration as sheep who love our Shepherd so much that we always want to be right at His side.

For it is as David also wrote in the 36th Psalm, “With You is the fountain of life; in your light we see light” (Vs. 9).

In the light of God’s face shining upon you, shining with His goodness, this is where you are able to see and understand all things within the light of His light, His face shining light.

Bless You o Lord. Thank You for restoring my soul so I may be with You, always, in Your Presence, with Your face shining upon me. Hallelujah!
