Springs Of The Water Of Life
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“The Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes”
Revelation 7:17
Even in heaven our Good Shepherd Jesus Christ will continue to shepherd us.
In Psalm 23 we see David, a shepherd himself, saying this of the Lord his Shepherd, “He leads me beside quiet waters.”
So now, as revealed in this verse from Revelation, here is the complete faithfulness of our Shepherd in that He is still guiding us, in heaven, “to springs of the water of life.”
Praise God, He is so good, so consistently good! Jesus is feeding and leading us every day now, as our Good Shepherd, fully and faithfully intending to lead His sheep home, successfully, to heaven, to our eternal green pastures and permanent waters of rest with Him.
Yesterday I shared a verse from Revelation 22 concerning the “river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,” which beautifully shows us the source of all the living waters of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
So, consider this now; “springs of the water of life.” What does this mean?
It appears to suggest that, in addition to this magnificent “river of the water of life,” there may also be “springs of the water of life,” hidden springs perhaps, that our Shepherd, Jesus Christ, will continue to lead us to with blessing and refreshing, even in heaven!
Keep drinking the living waters of your Lord Jesus today, beloved child of God, and all the way through your life on earth, even unto the eternal springs of “the water of life” reserved for you in heaven. Hallelujah!
