We Are The Sheep Of His Hand

Today’s Word Of Encouragement from Wayne:

We Are The Sheep Of His Hand

“He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand”

Psalm 95:7

Yesterday we saw in the 23rd Psalm that the Lord, Who is our Shepherd, makes us “lie down in green pastures,” giving us a perfect picture of the rest, security and nourishment we are privileged to experience in Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd.

Now this verse from the 95th Psalm brings us one step further, or closer, in our understanding of our relationship as sheep with our Shepherd.

God has made us the people of His pasture so that He may hand feed us, individually, with the best food possible; the body and blood, the living water and bread of life that is the essence of our Shepherd.

We become the sheep of His hand when we accept that we are the people of His pasture, always coming closer to Him Who is our life.

Don’t wander from your Shepherd today.

Instead, joyfully accept that you have become the person of His pasture and, having done that, draw near now to your Shepherd. Let Him hand feed you with His very best, the very best of Himself.

When you allow God to hand feed you, that is when all fear disappears. Your Good Shepherd’s hand-feeding presence eradicates all worry and any sense of separation.

Thank You Lord Jesus that you have saved me out of this world and into Your pasture so I may become the sheep of Your hand. May I joyfully eat from Your hand this day and every day. Hallelujah!
