Being Renewed Day By Day

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day”

2 Corinthians 4:16

Certainly the singular great treasure of our lives is Christ Jesus Himself, Who lives within us, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). He is our peace, our joy, our strength, our comfort, our light, our abiding fellowship, our healing, our wholeness, our way, our truth, our life, in every aspects of our lives.

This is why it is so good for us to praise God that, in Christ Jesus, “our inner man is being renewed day by day.”

For myself, I find that the more I specifically take the time to name and thank my Lord for His many attributes and blessings, the more I am then able to be aware of these very things; things and qualities that I truly need to keep in my thoughts throughout each day in order that I may be blessedly participating in a consistent “inner man” renewal.

Being consistent is the very quality that makes this renewal day by day.

God is consistently renewing our inner man day by day. Therefore, we need to be consistently receiving this renewal in our inner man, day by day, so that there may be continuous real fruit of this blessed truth in our daily lives.

Daily renewal daily blesses us. Once in a while renewal once in a while blesses us.

I’m choosing daily renewal. How about you?

I encourage you to be still with God today and thank Him for as many good things He has done and attributes of Who He is that you can think of. You are plugging in to renewal when you do this.

Yes Lord we praise You that in You our true “inner man” is being renewed day by day. We praise You even now, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah!
