The Word Has Come To Us

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

The Word Has Come To Us

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”

John 1:1

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”

John 1:14

“The Word,” Who was “in the beginning,” and Who also later “became flesh and dwelt among us,” has now come to us, to live in us, forever, as our “Immanuel,” our God with us (Matthew 1:23).

The Word of God, Jesus Christ, has made a long and faithful journey; from the beginning of creation to the cross & resurrection, and now to us. How blessed we are to know that, dwelling within us at this very moment, is the Word of God, Jesus Christ, our indwelling resurrected Savior, Lord, King, and High Priest.

The God of all creation and of our salvation has come to live within us, as Immanuel, and He wants us to know this, so we may joyfully recognize and submit to His Person and Presence in our innermost being.

Let us be truly grateful, humble and aware vessels of our indwelling Lord God.

All the creative power in this universe resides in the Author & Finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ (Hebrews 12:2), Who has come to dwell in us, that we might know Him, be changed into His likeness, be filled with His abundant life, so we may become an expression of His nature, purpose, will, and invitation to eternal life to this dead in sin world.

Today, let the Holy Spirit of our God fill you anew up to the fullness of Christ within, for your own joy and strength. In this way you are allowing “the Word” to become flesh once more, through you, so that our glorious Savior Jesus Christ might continue to call all to Himself.

This is the merriest of Christmases, when we realize Immanuel IS within us and we begin ministering Him to all people. Jesus Christ IS God’s Christmas gift to this world. Hallelujah!
