Peace In Christ In Us
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful”
John 14:27
Jesus leaves His peace with us and He gives His peace to us.
Let us make sure we are receiving and realizing His peace today.
We need the peace that Jesus offers and lovingly supplies to us.
This world does not give us peace, nor can it. Peace in this world can never be more than the temporary absence of conflict.
The peace that Jesus gives us and leaves with us is not about the absence of conflict. The peace that Jesus gives and leaves with us is about the addition of His Own Presence.
Peace in this world, if ever, is only temporary. The peace of Jesus Christ, within us, is permanent and forever.
Peace is not about living without conflict. Peace is about living with the presence of Jesus.
Today, please don’t say “there is no peace for me,” because that means you are looking at this world, which indeed has no peace to offer you. Instead , I encourage you to say, “Thank You Lord Jesus for giving me Your peace and leaving Your peace with me. You are my peace.”
Looking for and expecting peace, when there is none, will always let you down. Whereas the peace of God in Jesus Christ will always lift you up.
Live in the peace of Christ within you today so that you may triumphantly walk through this world of conflict with the peace of Christ ruling in your heart. “For He Himself is our peace” (Ephesians 2:14). Amen. Hallelujah!
