Perplexed And Pondering, Or Favor
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“She was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. The angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid Mary; for you have found favor with God’”
Luke 1:29-30
Are you perplexed and pondering over anything today? I highly recommend you set that aside right now and instead receive and rejoice in the favor of God.
God’s favor, realized within you in Jesus Christ, presents you with a strong and steady frame of mind, in Christ Himself. God’s favor keeps you anchored and centered in Christ at all times.
On the other hand, being perplexed and pondering opens our mind, and spirit, to a wider variety of thinking which very often leads us into uncertainty, doubt, and a general natural thinking apart from our God’s indwelling grace and presence.
Mary was perplexed and pondering concerning the angel Gabriel’s appearance and opening words so, seeing this, the angel responded saying, “Do not be afraid Mary; for you have found favor with God’” Luke 1:30.
We don’t have to be perplexed. We don’t have to be pondering. We don’t have to be fearful. Why? Because God has given us His favor, in His Son, Who fills us with Himself, and vanquishes every perplexing, pondering, fearful thought.
I invite you to receive the wisdom of Gabriel in this moment today and gladly take God’s favor over all else that may be within you. Let His peace be your peace. Let His favor be your favor. Yes, give up being perplexed and pondering and instead start praising God for His precious favor, freely and abundantly given to you this day through Jesus Christ our Lord. Hallelujah!
