Ministering To The Lord Is Our Being “Set Apart For Me”

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Ministering To The Lord Is Our Being “Set Apart For Me”

“While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them’”

Acts 13:2

Praise God, you have been chosen by your loving Savior, Jesus Christ, to be “Set apart for Me.”

Let God whisper in your ear as you minister to Him, “My beloved child, I have set you apart for Me.”

Ministering to the Lord, in its simplest and purest form, is our realization and agreement with God that, indeed, we have been set apart for Him.

We are set apart for God when we enter His presence, to minister to Him and to be filled with the light of His countenance.

Then, in His presence, as we attend to God in worship and stillness, this is exactly where we may more clearly and concisely hear the Holy Spirit saying to us what God is calling us to do in this world, even as we remain blessedly set apart for our Lord.

Every time that we minister to our Lord, the Holy Spirit reinforces this truth within us, this higher truth that we have been “Set apart for Me.”

Allow yourself this life-renewing joy in God’s presence today. Draw near to your loving and gracious Lord to minister to Him before His presence, and let His Holy Spirit minister to you that indeed have been, in love, “set apart for Me.” Hallelujah!
