Jesus Has Abolished Death And Has Given Us Life Instead

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel”
2 Timothy 1:10
Jesus Christ has abolished death from our lives so that we may now be blessed and free to become completely absorbed in the profound truth of our new eternal life and immortality in Him!
It is through the light of the Gospel that we may behold, apprehend, and ultimately become apprehended by this higher, greater truth of our having been set free from death and the fear of death (which comes down to a fear of separation from God) so that we may instead live in spiritual resurrection life now and throughout eternity in unbroken fellowship with the God of our creation.
This is true immortality.
We see the light, or truth, of this matter when we accept that Jesus has abolished death on our behalf so He may bring “life and immortality to light” for us.
Yes, let God shine this light, His light, of “life and immortality” on you today - and thank Him. Hallelujah!
