Speaking To Me From The House
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house. Then I heard one speaking to me from the house”
Ezekiel 43:5-6
Here is yet another great and awesome reason for all true Christians everywhere to embrace and realize their own priesthood to God - because God speaks “from the house.”
If we truly desire to hear our God, then there is no better thing for us to do than to occupy our priesthood in His presence, being as near to our Lord, our Good Shepherd, as possible so that we, His sheep, may indeed hear His voice. Our Lord Jesus has declared this to us, saying “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
Yes, just as sheep follow, remain close, and are utterly dependent upon their shepherd, so we too, the sheep of our Good Shepherd, remain close, as close as can be to our Shepherd, through our being priests unto our High Priest and God, Jesus Christ, in His Own presence.
When God speaks from His presence, “from the house,”we are greatly blessed to hear Him, being in a holy posture before our Lord as His Own humble and grateful priests, sheep of His pasture, and beloved children of our Abba Father.
Ministering to our Lord, in the inner court within us, unfolds the beautiful reality of James’ words where he wrote, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you” (James 4:8,10).
Bless the name of our gracious Lord, Who has privileged us to be the priests of His presence, the sheep of His pasture, so we might follow Him, worship Him in His presence, and hear His voice.
With the holy Scriptures and our holy priesthood, we are so greatly favored to experience and be led by our great, mighty, tender, and loving Savior God, studying His will and hearing His voice even as we minister to Him with thanksgivings.
So, in review, once more - allow yourself the great blessing this day of being lifted by the Holy Spirit to enter your inner court sanctuary, where you will behold the glory of the Lord filling the house ( the house of God within you), and in this place of reverence and oneness, “Then I heard one speaking to me from the house.” Listen and hear! Allow God to quicken His word to you as you are permeated with His presence. Oh bless His holy name! Hallelujah!
