Coming In, Seeing Him, Worshiping Him, And Giving Gifts To Him
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“After coming into the house they saw the child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts”
Matthew 2:11
This beautiful word from the Scriptures, concerning the magi coming to see Jesus, is representative of every life that comes to Christ.
First, we come “into the house,” meaning that we are coming to Christ, where He is.
Second, “they saw the child,” meaning that when we come to Christ it is Christ Himself that we are seeing.
Third, “they fell to the ground and worshiped Him,” meaning that when we come to Christ, into His house, into His kingdom, and when we then fix our eyes upon Jesus, seeing Him, it is in that moment that the revelation of Who Christ truly is to us is seen, and our response is to fall on our knees and worship Him.
Fourth, having entered the house of our salvation, and having seen our Lord as He is, and worshiping Him, then we are blessed to do as the magi did, “opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts.” Yes give the gift of your life to your Lord Jesus this Christmas, Who has given His life for you, so that you may know Him and be with Him, Immanuel, forever. Your gift to Jesus Christ is precious, and He will apply your gift to His glory, and you will be glorified with Him!
Jesus has been born into our hearts. Let us, every day, come into His house, see Him, worship Him, and give ourselves to Him. Let us do this now. Merry Christmas! Hallelujah!
