Floating On The Surface Of The Water

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Floating On The Surface Of The Water

“The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water”

Genesis 7:17

No matter what judgement or tragedy befalls this world, please know, Christian, that the ark of your salvation, preservation, and safety is always “floating [peacefully] on the surface of the water.”

In Jesus Christ, our risen and indwelling Savior, we have been given a new life as new creations in the new covenant kingdom of God.

Paul wrote, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2: 4-6). According to this portion of Scripture we have been “loved,” “saved,” “raised,” and “seated” in victory, far above this world, “in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Now that’s what I call finding “favor in the eyes of the Lord” (Genesis 6:8)!

Your ark is floating safely today, right now, far above this world.

Enter the ark within you, as a minister to your Lord, and thank Him for Who He is and all that He has done. Thank Him for sealing the door behind you, even as you enter, so you may know and sense perfect safety, peace, and protection in His restorative presence.

Each time you do this you are availing yourself of the opportunity to truly behold your new life, of being seated with Christ in heavenly places and victory, as the very ark of your salvation.

Let God “float your boat” today as you praise Him in His presence. Yes, float without fear in His living water, beloved of God, for your Lord of love has delivered you from evil so that you may live forever with Him in His holy ark of life, safety, and blessing, far about this earth! Praise Him! Hallelujah!
