Day & Night In His Temple, God Spreads His Tabernacle Over Us
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, ‘These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?’ I said to him, ‘My lord, you know.’ And he said to me, ‘These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.’”
Revelation 7:13-15
In this beautiful scene, unfolding in heaven, we are given a glimpse of grateful children of God, saved out of tribulation by having their robes washed and made white in the blood of the Lamb, expressing their gratitude (“for this reason”) by ministering to the Lord, serving Him “day and night in His temple.”
Once more let me emphasize how much God is blessed, and truly revered, when His children express their obvious gratitude for salvation and deliverance by serving Him “day and night in His temple,” which, now, under the New Covenant, dwells within us, seeing that we have become a “temple of God” (1 Corinthians 3:16).
Hallelujah, you and I have been washed and made “white in the blood of the Lamb,” and God has delivered us out of tribulation, so that we might belong to Him, being “a people for God’s own possession” (1 Peter 2:9). So let us show our gratitude by being the priests unto God our Father that Jesus has made us to be (“He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father” Revelation 1:6), and let us minister to our Lord.
For here is another great truth and blessing for our lives, as we actually do practice our priesthood: “He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.”
When you and I enter the presence of our Lord, in our inner room (Matthew 6:6), to minister to Him, as grateful blood-washed children, our heavenly Abba Father is so blessed to see that He is actually and truly being honored according to His Own expressed desire, in that we are being the kingdom of priests He has always called for, that He responds by spreading His tabernacle over us.
We, by faith, enter His presence within and He, being blessed, spreads His tabernacle over us.
Every time you come to minister to the Lord, your Abba Father spreads His tabernacle presence and protection over you.
O Amazing grace, how sweet this sound, that we are invited to this place, and our God fills this space, with the anointing of His face shining upon us. What a beautiful tabernacle!
Let’s not wait for heaven to show our gratitude to God. Amen? Let’s love Him today. Let’s meet with and Worship God in our inner court today.
Yes, minister to your Lord and receive this blessing of the tabernacle of His presence and anointing being spread over you, in love, in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!
