We Have Been Brought Near By The Blood Of Christ
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ”
Ephesians 2:13
So often we may think of our salvation in terms of; God’s mercy, love, grace, His kindness, and our repentance. All of this is good, for these are certainly all precious truths, gems of our forever salvation in Jesus Christ.
But let us never forget, not even for an instant, that we, “who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
It is through the sacred sacrifice of love in our Savior’s blood, shed at Calvary to atone for our sins, that we “have been brought near.”
Jesus loves us so much that he was not content to save us from afar and leave us at a distance.
No, He came here, to earth, and paid for our sins with His blood, so He may bring us near to Himself in complete salvation, cleansing, and fellowship.
His sacrifice means everything. We have nothing apart from Jesus’ shed blood and everything because of Jesus’ shed blood.
O praise His Holy Name. He is so worthy to receive our love, devotion, and praise forever, that He would do such a thing for us.
We were so “far off” before we were saved. And now, thanks to Christ Jesus, we are with Him, having “been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
Thank You Lord. We praise You. May we always be mindful, grateful, reverential, humble, and loving before you for the great sacrifice of love in Your blood that You paid to bring us near to You. Oh thank You our Gracious Lord. Hallelujah!
