“Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which translated means, ‘God with us’”
Matthew 1:22-23
It is truly, wonderfully, amazing to think that this word, prophesied through Isaiah two thousand seven hundred years ago, and fulfilled in the Person of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago, comes to life now, today, every time a person receives Christ as Savior!
This is a miracle which is intended by God to become true in us!
What a blessing, what a forecast of our Abba Father’s eternal love towards us, that He would want us to know, well in advance, that His ultimate desire has always been to come to us to be our Immanuel, our “God with us.”
This great prophecy and fulfillment in our Lord is a holy seed of God which activates to life, within us, when we say “yes” to Him.
Beloved child of God, say “yes” this day, with gratitude and joy, to the indwelling presence of “God with you,” all of the time in the person of Jesus Christ.
Say “yes” to Immanuel and make room for God’s glorious prophecy through Isaiah and His fulfillment in Jesus Christ to fruitfully dwell in you today.
Water this eternal seed with praise and thanksgiving, and watch how your own awareness of Immanuel grows. God is with you!
Hallelujah!
