Knowing That The Lord Himself Is God
Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the Lord Himself is God”
Psalm 100:2-3
One of the great blessings in our priesthood to God, along with the open invitation (indeed exhortation) to serve our Lord with gladness by coming before Him with joy filled singing, is that in His presence we get to experience, meditate upon, and be overwhelmed by this supreme truth - our Lord Himself is God.
We need to know this. We need to be growing in the knowing that our Lord Himself is God.
Do you realize how many people there are who say they believe in God and yet this biggest of news makes hardly a dent in their thinking and living?
You and I are blessed to believe, and to know, that our Lord, Himself, is God.
The more time we spend in God’s presence, coming before Him gladly and joyfully, the more our innermost being is graced to know, to truly “know that the Lord Himself is God.”
Peter once declared to Jesus, “we have believed and have come to know that you are the Holy One of God” (John 6: 69).
What is the difference between believing and knowing?
Any one can believe in God but in order to know God you have to be willing to spend time with Him, like Peter and the disciples did.
So, yes, serve the Lord with gladness and come before Him with joyful singing for in doing so you allow your believing in God to grow, becoming your knowing God.
Yes, enter His presence now and know that the Lord, Himself, is your God. He is God of this universe, God of your life, and God Who loves your presence in His presence, singing to His name and being with Him. We bless you Lord! Hallelujah!
